We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, operational excellence and developing hospitality professionals within a supportive team environment.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of one of our licensed venues.Reporting to the Approved Manager, you will lead a team of bar attendants, supervise service standards, manage stock and cash handling processes, ensure compliance with liquor licensing legislation and contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations and lead a team of bar attendants.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with RSA requirements and company standards.
- Train, mentor and support team members.
- Manage beverage stock, stock transfers and wastage documentation.
- Monitor bar equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Complete opening, closing and cleaning procedures.
- Accurately operate POS systems, TYRO terminals and complete till reconciliations.
- Assist with the setup, operation and pack down of functions and events.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
- Promote a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture.
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience within a licensed hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of RSA legislation and liquor licensing requirements.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling and stock control.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
- Food Handling Certificate.
- TAB experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to obtain a positive VETASSESS Skills Assessment if required under the Kimberley Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA).
