Head Barista – Coffee & Kitchen East Ballina

Coffee & Kitchen East is looking for an experienced Head Barista to join our team in East Ballina.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about coffee, confident leading a busy coffee section, and takes pride in consistency, speed, cleanliness and friendly customer service.

About the role

We are looking for someone who can:

Produce high-quality coffee consistently
Understand extraction, grinder adjustment and milk texturing
Pour clean latte art
Work well under pressure during busy café service
Help lead and support junior baristas / FOH staff
Maintain a clean, organised coffee section
Provide warm, professional customer service
Take ownership of coffee quality and daily standards

What we’re looking for

Strong barista experience in a busy café environment
Confident with espresso, milk work and workflow
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
Ability to lead by example
Available for weekday and weekend shifts
