Coffee & Kitchen Ballina is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team in a full-time front-of-house trainee position.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in hospitality. Previous café experience is helpful but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
What you’ll learn
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly table service
- Taking dine-in and takeaway orders
- Operating the POS and processing payments
- Preparing espresso coffee and other beverages
- Running meals and drinks to tables
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Food safety, hygiene and presentation standards
- Opening and closing procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a busy café team
We’re looking for someone who
- Has a positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality
- Is friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Takes pride in their presentation and work
- Can stay calm and organised during busy periods
- Is available to work weekdays and one weekend day each week
- Wants stable, long-term full-time employment
