Full Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a Outbound Team Member to join our dynamic and fast-paced cold chain logistics depot. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting outbound warehouse operations (including other general operational duties when required), ensuring all activities comply with strict temperature-sensitive storage requirements. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of our supply chain operations, particularly for pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical products.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound Operations:

Prioritise and receive inbound goods (FIFO).
Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify documentation.
Operate and report on data loggers.
Process goods into quarantine and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records in eWMS (Warehouse Management System)
Communicate with couriers about damaged or delayed shipments.

Outbound Operations:

Process outbound dispatch requests in a timely manner.
Pick, pack, and prepare goods for courier collection.
Generate courier consignment notes and coordinate pickups.
Troubleshoot delivery issues and ensure proof of delivery is obtained.
Organise product destruction with external providers.

General Warehouse Duties:

Ensure compliance with cold chain and GMP/GWP/GCP standards.
Keep the warehouse organised and clean.
Comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
Collaborate with the team to meet daily operational targets.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

Diploma in logistics, warehousing, or equivalent experience (preferred).

Experience:

1+ year in a warehouse/logistics role (preferably in pharma, medical, clinical, or scientific settings).
Understanding of cold chain logistics and third-party logistics (3PL).
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
Computer literate with good numerical and literacy skills
Proactive, professional, and adaptable to change
