About the role:

This full time, ongoing positions sits within Business Services Division, Crime and Counter Terrorism Investigation Services.

Business Services Division supports two functional areas comprising of eight Divisions and ninety-eight Work Units. The successful applicant will be supporting establishment and recruitment functions as well as various priority projects across the Division.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

Your duties will include:

Onboarding and offboarding for Police and VPS employees
Coordination of recruitment activity and provision for administrative support
Preparation and coordination of supporting documentation for internal and external assignments
Collation and validation of data to support and inform decision making
Day to day management of registers pertaining to local establishment and leave functions
Report preparation with recommendations
Organisational change, establishment and decommissioning of operations and taskforces
Routine audits and governance oversights
Management of position profiles and descriptions
General advice and direction on people related queries and issues
Stakeholder engagement

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Ability to respond quickly and effectively to dynamic scenarios and provide accurate and timely solutions
Demonstrated experience administering and managing end to end recruitment functions
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly , manage group discussions and provide factual and accurate oral and written reports
The ability to recognise and treat accordingly sensitive and confidential information
Demonstrated experienc e building effective stakeholder relationships
Thinks strategically and embraces and supports change

Further Information:

One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
