CIVIL ESTIMATOR

We are looking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. As a Civil Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our civil construction projects, working with both government sectors and private developers. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects.
Analyzing project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements.
Identifying and quantifying project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Utilizing estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and construction schedules.
Monitoring industry trends and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.
Reviewing subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing agreements.
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior estimators.
Preparing methodologies and construction programs for the tendering phase
Reviewing tender submissions

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

Minimum of Three years of experience as a Estimator in the civil construction industry.
Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and cost estimation.
Familiarity with government sector projects.
Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Relevant degree or certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
