About the Role

Aje is seeking a commercially driven International Wholesale Sales Executive to join our team. Reporting into the Head of International, this role owns the day-to-day management of our global wholesale portfolio accounts across the US, UK and Europe, the Middle East and Asia —as well as any future brand partners acquired by Aje.

As the primary point of contact for our international partners, you will drive end-to-end account management across multiple markets and time zones, ensuring exceptional brand representation and the consistent delivery of commercial outcomes across a portfolio. The role includes up to three international trips per year to Paris / New York for buy appointments and market visits.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of international wholesale accounts across the US, UK and Europe, the Middle East and Asia, acting as a key brand ambassador for Aje in global markets
Manage accounts end-to-end, from initial ranging discussions through to final delivery and partner reporting
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across partner organisations, including buying teams, agents and distributors
Act as a strategic communicator, ensuring all international partners are consistently aligned on Aje’s vision, product strategy, brand storytelling and seasonal direction
Lead regular trade calls and seasonal reviews with key accounts, providing updates on trade performance, sell-through and stock movements across time zones
Manage relationships with international agents and distributors, ensuring alignment on strategy, targets and brand standards
Oversee international pop-ups, shop-in-shops and in-store activations, ensuring seamless, on-brand execution across all retail environments

Sales & Commercial Performance

Own and grow the international wholesale portfolio
Drive sell-through performance and identify opportunities to grow the business with each partner and open new doors in priority markets
Lead buy appointments to present new collections in line with brand strategy and commercial objectives
Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies tailored to each market’s customer base, trading calendar and commercial objectives
Monitor and report on sales performance by market and account, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Manage market-specific commercial terms, including pricing, currency, freight, duties and payment terms, in partnership with Finance
Partner closely with the Head of International on strategy, seasonal planning and budget management

International Travel & Market Development

Travel internationally up to three times per year to Paris and New York for showroom seasons and buy appointments
Conduct market visits and store visits while in market to maintain partner relationships, review brand execution and gather competitor and customer insight
Identify and qualify new market opportunities, prospective accounts and distribution partners aligned to Aje’s brand positioning
Prepare pre-trip appointment schedules and post-trip reporting, capturing buyer feedback, orders written and actions for internal teams

Partner Platform & Digital

Manage partner platform enrichment end-to-end, including uploading and maintaining accurate product content, imagery and attributes across international partner portals
Ensure all product listings meet each partner’s content standards and are live and accurate ahead of key trading periods in each market

Orders & Production Handover

Manage the full sales order entry process across all international accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Coordinate handover of confirmed orders to the Production and Operations teams, ensuring all necessary information is captured and communicated
Proactively manage any order amendments, range changes or cancellations and communicate these effectively to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with the Wholesale Operations Team on international shipping, compliance documentation, late deliveries and order changes, ensuring transparency and minimising disruption

Showings & Events

Plan, coordinate and execute international wholesale showings and buy appointments across all markets, both in market and remotely
Manage the critical path for each showing, including venue and showroom bookings, scheduling, sample logistics, styling and catering
Oversee all sample management, including international sample trafficking, customs documentation, tracking and presentation of collections to ensure each showing reflects the highest brand standards
Ensure each showing delivers a premium, on-brand experience that clearly communicates Aje’s brand storytelling, design direction and commercial priorities
Prepare and distribute all relevant materials including look books, line sheets and order forms
Provide detailed buyer product feedback to Design and Merchandise teams following every showing, capturing reactions, preferences and commercial insights to inform future ranging decisions

About You

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an international wholesale sales or account management role within the fashion industry
Proven track record of managing a multi-market account portfolio and delivering against sales targets
Strong understanding of international wholesale markets, with experience across the US, UK and Europe, the Middle East or Asia highly regarded
Experience working with international agents, distributors and trade shows
Working knowledge of export processes, international shipping terms and market-specific commercial requirements
Experience working with partner portals and digital content management platforms
Proficiency in sales order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Joor and/or NuOrder/AP21
Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally up to three times per year
