Details: Red Hill Primary School is seeking a dynamic Finance & Excursions Officer. In this diverse and rewarding role, you’ll manage day-to-day finance functions such as payments, budgeting and reporting, while also coordinating exciting school excursions, from planning and approvals through to payments and communication with families and staff. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, students and the wider community. Eligibility/Other requirements:

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra

Highly Desirable:

Experience in a finance related role and/or financial qualifications or relevant experience.
Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Knowledge of Xero and Sentral packages
First Aid qualification. A First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

Notes: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
