Details: CIT is seeking a highly motivated Marketing professional with 5+ years experience to develop and deliver a number of marketing and student recruitment initiatives to attract and engage prospective students.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of CIT Marketing and working under broad direction, the Senior Marketing Officer will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver audience-centric campaigns, engagement activities and compelling social media and digital content to strengthen brand positioning and drive community growth and engagement, particularly among current and future students.
The role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for planning and creating marketing campaigns and content informed by research, insights and evaluation, and aligned with the CIT brand, marketing objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance requirements.

Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrated experience creating user-centric campaigns across various channels, including writing, curating and publishing content for a variety of audiences.

High level written and oral communication skills with experience preparing marketing materials across social and digital channels (paid and organic), campaign plans, briefs, scripts, email campaigns, reports and other collateral.

Ability to liaise professionally and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience using social media and digital content management platforms and analytics tools.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, media studies and/or public relations or a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience working in marketing.

Experience in education sector marketing and communications will be highly regarded.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 6 July 2026 until 18 December 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
