About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Administration Support / Receptionist to join our team at Maclean Partners.

This is a key front-of-office role and the first point of contact for our clients. You will play an important part in supporting our accounting and advisory teams while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Townsville office.

What you’ll be doing

Welcoming clients and managing front reception in a professional and friendly manner
Handling a busy telephone system and incoming emails
Providing general administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning and correspondence
Diary and appointment coordination
Maintaining and updating client records and office systems
Formatting letters and documents
Processing invoices, receipts and general office paperwork
Supporting the wider team as required
Contributing to efficient office processes and continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role (professional services experience preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience with MYOB AE/MPM is an advantage, but not essential
Knowledge of the accounting industry is beneficial but not required

Remuneration

Remuneration will be negotiated commensurate with experience and ability.
