Haynes is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Coordinator for a permanent opportunity based in Bohle, Townsville.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy agricultural and logistics operation, supporting day-to-day site activities and ensuring the smooth coordination of customer orders, inventory movements, purchasing, dispatch, and administrative functions.
- Permanent full-time employment
- $70,000 per annum salary
- Stable Monday to Friday roster
- 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Overtime required during peak fertiliser season
As the Administration Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for site administration and operational support. Working closely with site personnel, customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities include
- Process customer orders and bookings accurately and efficiently
- Maintain professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Generate order, booking, dispatch, and inventory reports
- Coordinate purchasing activities and raise purchase orders
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control processes
- Receive and reconcile incoming goods and maintain accurate system records
- Operate and manage weighbridge transactions as required
- Coordinate dispatch schedules and liaise with transport contractors
- Manage freight calculations and associated documentation
- Support accounts-related activities, including creditor and debtor queries
- Assist with leave management, training records, site inductions, and other HR administration tasks
- Maintain office supplies, petty cash records, and general site administration
- Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with production duties where required
- Operate machinery where licenced – including forklifts and front-end loaders
The successful applicant must have
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in an administration, operations support, logistics, or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy operational environment
Highly Regarded
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing, or agricultural industries
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP
- Front-End Loader Ticket
