Full Job Description

Finance & Project Administrator | Part Time | Approx 20hrs (3-4 days)

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Project Administrator to join EDLA Group in a part-time role across approximately 20 hours per week over 3–4 days.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes to take ownership, work independently and follow things through to completion.

You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and support finance across a number of EDLA Group businesses, with a strong focus on end-to-end accounts payable, project finance administration and corporate credit card management and reconciliation.

What you’ll be doing

Manage end-to-end accounts payable
Manage supplier invoices, payment runs and purchase orders
Reconcile and manage corporate credit cards ensuring adherence to company policies
Support the financial administration of EnServe projects
Manage and maintain xero projects ensuring project costs, purchases and chargeable items are captured and allocated correctly
Follow up missing information, discrepancies and outstanding items
Work across multiple entities and cost centres
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance queries
Support continuousimprovements to finance processes, systems and workflows

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on and working with a high level of autonomy.

You will ideally be someone who:

Has solid practical finance / accounts experience
Is confident using Xero
Can work across multiple entities and projects
Is comfortable investigating issues rather than just processing what is in front of them
Takes ownership and follows things through
Enjoys implementing continuous improvements across finance and administration suggesting better ways of doing things and help streamline processes
Communicates well with operational teams, suppliers and other stakeholders
Is organised, reliable and committed
Enjoys variety and is not afraid to jump in where needed

Experience in a project-based, operational or multi-entity business would be highly regarded.
