Through our businesses, Austral Tree Services and Project Green Consulting, we deliver professional tree management solutions to government, commercial and private clients.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Operations Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in coordinating daily operations, supporting our field teams and consultants, and ensuring jobs progress efficiently from enquiry through to completion.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the daily schedules of our Project Green consulting arborists.
- Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day operational planning and workflow.
- Manage the administration of jobs through to completion.
- Liaise with clients to confirm bookings, communicate progress and respond to enquiries.
- Coordinate resources, documentation and information required for scheduled works.
- Monitor job progress and ensure information is accurately maintained within our management systems.
- Work closely with estimators, consultants, operations staff and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and operational documentation as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an operations, scheduling, administration or coordination role or industry is ideal.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and clients.
- High attention to detail and excellent computer skills.
- Experience using job management SIMPRO software (or the ability to learn quickly).
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within construction, arboriculture, maintenance, facilities management or a field service business will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
