Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to be part of a broader team within Linen Services, supporting all Hospital and Health Services, the Department of Health, Queensland Government and external partners, contributing to the branch's goal of 'Maximising value; elevating healthcare.' More than an administration role, you'll be supporting an essential service that helps hospitals and healthcare teams deliver quality care to Queenslanders.

Role fit

The essential requirements for this role are:
Demonstrated ability to undertake general administrative and data entry duties accurately and efficiently with limited supervision, exercising initiative and sound judgement when required.
Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with administrative, operational and professional staff, delivering high-quality customer service, managing client enquiries, and building effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Developing financial and procurement administration expertise, with experience in purchasing, receipting, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate databases and records, complemented by a strong willingness and ability to learn new systems, policies and procedures to meet organisational requirements.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a workplace that supports quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
