At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for a skilled Site Supervisor (CARPS) to lead and support our Environmental Services team.

About the Opportunity

As a Site Supervisor (CARPS), you will oversee day-to-day Environmental Services operations at a site level, ensuring cleaning, hygiene, and performance standards are consistently achieved. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and clean healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitors while driving service excellence and operational efficiency. In this role you will:

Supervise daily Environmental Services operations and coordinate staff activities across your designated shift
Receive, prioritise, and allocate work requests using the CARPS Task Allocation Management System
Lead, mentor, and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to standards
Monitor and maintain KPIs, hygiene, and quality standards
Participate in staff induction, training, and performance management activities
Contribute to quality improvement, risk management, and compliance with policies and procedures
Respond to operational demands, including emergency response activities where required

About You
We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in Environmental Services or a similar field
A current NSW Driver’s Licence
Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff in a team environment
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
High-level computer skills and a strong customer service focus
Demonstrated knowledge of current industry standards in Environmental Services
Ability to implement and monitor policies and procedures effectively
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
An understanding of how CCLHD delivers Caring for the Coast and how this role contributes to that vision
