About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Sales Manager to lead our trade sales growth across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coaching a small team of Trade Account Managers, and driving sales performance across the region.

Working closely with our stores and trade teams, you'll play a key role in shaping our sales strategy and delivering outstanding outcomes for both our customers and our business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective trade customers.
Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Trade Account Managers.
Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
Collaborate with Store Managers and Trade Representatives to maximise branch sales performance.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to the trade sales team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Proven success in a field-based sales leadership role, ideally within the building, construction, or hardware industry.
Strong business development skills and an established network of trade customers.
Exceptional relationship-building and customer service abilities.
A results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
The ability to work autonomously while effectively leading and motivating a team.
