About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Sales Manager to lead our trade sales growth across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, coaching a small team of Trade Account Managers, and driving sales performance across the region.
Working closely with our stores and trade teams, you'll play a key role in shaping our sales strategy and delivering outstanding outcomes for both our customers and our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective trade customers.
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Trade Account Managers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Store Managers and Trade Representatives to maximise branch sales performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to the trade sales team.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback insights.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven success in a field-based sales leadership role, ideally within the building, construction, or hardware industry.
- Strong business development skills and an established network of trade customers.
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service abilities.
- A results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while effectively leading and motivating a team.
A current and valid driver's licence.
