About the Role
Are you an experienced learning professional with a passion for designing engaging training solutions and building strong stakeholder relationships? We're seeking a highly motivated Learning Solutions Consultant to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality blended learning solutions across Auto & General.
Reporting to the Learning Solutions Lead, this role is pivotal in supporting strategic, enterprise-wide learning initiatives with senior stakeholders across the business. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise in instructional design, project management, and facilitation will help safeguard a brighter future for our people.

What you'll be doing
As our Learning Solutions Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering learning solutions that drive business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

End-to-End Learning Solutions: Manage the complete project lifecycle for learning initiatives, from stakeholder consultation and needs analysis through to delivery and evaluation. You'll assess requirements, define priorities, and ensure objectives and deliverables are achieved on time and to a high standard.

Instructional Design & Content Development: Design and develop engaging, blended learning experiences with clear learning objectives, effective instruction, and competency-based assessments. You'll utilise a diverse range of instructional tools and methods to create learning content across various modalities including online courses, workshops, multimedia, and assessments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders at all levels, particularly senior leaders involved in strategic initiatives. You'll understand their learning needs, contribute to solution development, and provide coaching and guidance on effective learning interventions.

Learning Delivery & Facilitation: Facilitate engaging learning experiences through various modalities, including workshop delivery and virtual sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill application across the organisation.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of Learning & Development processes and practices, actively support the Auto & General Community of Learning to foster knowledge sharing, and champion a collaborative learning culture.
What experience you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in a Learning & Development role, including hands-on experience in the design, development, and delivery of blended learning solutions.

Proven experience working within project structures and contributing to project management activities.

Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Proficiency in designing and developing engaging learning content across various modalities (e.g., online courses, workshops, multimedia).

Demonstrated facilitation skills for delivering engaging learning experiences (workshop, virtual).

Familiarity with modern instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and understand learning needs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage individual workload and priorities, and adapt to changing demands.

A proactive and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Highly desirable:

Tertiary qualification in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or a related discipline.

Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM Foundation, or similar).

Experience in a dynamic service operations environment.
The Location
This role is based at Kawana, North Lakes or Toowong, with the expectation that you will travel across all three sites as required. You'll work across our multiple locations in a collaborative, multi-skilled team environment.
