Full Job Description

The Role:

This is a perfect role for someone starting their career in business administration or bookkeeping. You'll support our daily accounts function and help with general office tasks.

Your Daily Tasks:

Accounts

Creating and sending customer invoices
Entering and checking vendor invoices
Posting journal accounts, managing general ledger and trial balance
Matching daily bank feeds (reconciliations)
BAS/GST reconciliation prep
Preparing payroll data
Managing with the debtor ledger and following up outstanding payments

Reporting

Helping generate basic monthly Profit & Loss reports using our accounting software, under guidance

Office Admin

Answering phone calls and responding to general email enquiries
Filing digital documents
Helping the team with daily admin tasks

What We Are Looking For:

Basic understanding of or exposure to cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero/MYOB or any other ERP software)
Strong attention to detail (getting the numbers right matters!)
Good understanding of accounting principles, debit & credits, and Australian taxation law & compliance
Good communication skills and a friendly phone manner
Reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a small team
Certificate/Diploma in Business or Accounting (or working towards one)
Minimum 3 years valid working visa / PR / Citizen
Logistic experience is an advantage but not mandatory
