Details: Lead the future of digital records and information management across the ACT Government.

Digital Canberra is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking leader to head the Digital Records Systems and Strategy (DRSS) team. This is a unique opportunity to shape whole-of-government strategies, governance frameworks and enterprise platforms that support the secure, efficient and compliant management of government information.

As Director, you will lead the strategic direction, governance and continuous improvement of the ACT Government's enterprise records management systems, working closely with senior executives, technology partners and stakeholders across government to drive digital transformation and innovation.

About you

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with experience delivering enterprise technology services incomplex organisations. You bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to lead organisational change and high-performing teams.

You will ideally have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Enterprise systems leadership and service delivery
Digital information or records management
Technology procurement, vendor and contract management
Strategic planning and governance
Large-scale project delivery and business transformation
Financial and workforce management
Working with senior executives and diverse stakeholders

Experience in government, highly regulated, or security-conscious environments will be highly regarded.

Eligibility/Other requirements: This position requires a national security clearance at the baseline/ negative vetting 1 (NV1) level issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). As such, the incumbent must be an Australian citizen, be willing to undergo the security clearance process, and have an ability to obtain and maintain the relevant clearance as a requirement of continuing employment.

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
