Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items across hot and cold kitchen sections in accordance with recipes and service standards
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, of high quality, and handled in line with food safety and stock rotation procedures (FIFO)
Perform food preparation tasks including washing, chopping, peeling, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Monitor and regulate cooking equipment (ovens, grills, etc.) to maintain consistency and safe cooking temperatures
Season, cook, and finish dishes to meet required flavour profiles and presentation standards
Portion and plate dishes attractively, ensuring consistency in presentation during service
Store food appropriately in temperature-controlled environments in compliance with food safety standards
Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary requirements while maintaining strict cross-contamination controls
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and WHS compliance at all times
Set up and clean kitchen stations before, during, and after service

Skills & Requirements:

Experience in relevant roles is highly preferred (however, we are willing to train from scratch if you have the can-do right attitude)
Certificate III in Kitchen Management (or equivalent) - PREFERRED
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role - PREFERRED but not Essential
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation and presentation
