We are seeking a capable and detail-orientated Sales Administration Assistant to support our sales team!

About the Role

Are you looking for a real career starting point, not just another job? COHERA-TECH is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-loving go-getter to join our Sales team as a Sales Administration Assistant. This is a genuine "learn on the job" opportunity: full training provided, a supportive team behind you, and a clear path to grow your skills and responsibility over time.

You don't need years of admin experience. You need curiosity, a great attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a willingness to learn fast and ask questions. If you've worked in retail, hospitality, customer service, or you're simply ready to build your first real office career, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

From day one, you'll be right in the middle of the action: supporting our sales team, talking to customers, and helping projects move from first enquiry through to completion. You'll learn how a real business runs, end to end.

Help prepare quotes, proposals, and sales documents
Chat with customers and help answer their questions (we'll teach you what you need to know)
Keep our CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date
Help coordinate handovers between Sales, Project Delivery, Support, and Accounts
Follow up outstanding info so projects keep moving
Learn our systems, products, and processes, and take on more as your confidence grows

Where this can take you

This isn't a dead-end admin job, it's a launchpad. As you build your skills and product knowledge, you'll have the chance to:

Take on more complex quotes and proposals
Manage customer enquiries independently
Support account management
Get involved in CRM reporting and sales data
Help mentor the next new team member

What we're looking for

A genuine willingness to learn and grow, this matters more to us than a long résumé
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Comfortable using computers and picking up new software
A helpful, professional attitude with customers
Someone who takes initiative and follows things through

No prior admin, sales, or CRM experience required, though any background in customer service, retail, or office work is a bonus.

The Practical Bits

Full-time, based at our Seventeen Mile Rocks office
Full training provided in HubSpot, Xero, Google Workspace, and our internal processes
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full-time work rights in Australia
