Full Job Description

Burwood Diamond Dental is seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.

This is initially a casual position for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the front desk and day-to-day patient flow
Appointment scheduling and diary management
Patient communication, recalls and follow-ups
Coordinating treatment appointments, particularly implant and fixed orthodontic cases
Understanding implant and orthodontic terminology, procedures, components and appointment requirements
Managing ordering of dental materials, implant components, orthodontic supplies and general consumables
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers
Following up laboratory cases, referrals and treatment requirements
Processing payments and general reception administration
Supporting the clinical team when required

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in dental reception or dental practice coordination
Strong knowledge and experience in implant dentistry
Strong knowledge and experience in fixed orthodontics
Experience with dental stock control, ordering and supplier management
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confident dealing with patients, dentists, laboratories and suppliers
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy dental practice
Dental assisting experience is beneficial, but front desk and coordination skills are the main focus of this position
Ability to speak Mandarin or Spanish would be an advantage

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
