Job Description
Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for an experienced and strategic Director of PMO, Transformation & Strategic Delivery to join our Brisbane City Head Office.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership position will play a key role in shaping how Minor Hotels Australasia delivers strategic initiatives, transformation programs and enterprise-wide projects, ensuring our priorities translate into measurable and sustainable business outcomes.
Working closely with the Executive Committee, Senior Operational Leaders and Corporate Services, this role oversees the strategic project portfolio and drive operational transformation, business readiness and deliver excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:

Lead and evolve the Minor Hotels Australasia PMO, establishing enterprise-wide project governance, delivery standards and portfolio disciplines.

Own the strategic project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, aligned to business strategy and appropriately resourced.

Lead the delivery of strategic projects, transformation programs and enterprise initiatives from initiation through to implementation.

Establish consistent project management frameworks, methodologies, tools and reporting standards across the organisation

Chair portfolio governance forums, driving effective decision-making, prioritisation and accountability.

Manage portfolio risks, dependencies, resource constraints and competing business priorities, while providing clear recommendations to the senior leadership team.

Provide executive reporting, insights and decision support on portfolio performance, delivery risks and strategic priorities.

Drive cross-functional operational transformation, process improvement, cost-efficiency and productivity initiatives across the hotel portfolio.

Identify operational barriers and partner with leaders to redesign processes and implement practical, scalable solutions.

Lead business readiness and change governance for major strategic initiatives, system implementations and enterprise change programs.

Support operational planning and readiness for new hotel openings and major operational initiatives.

Act as a trusted adviser to the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Leaders on enterprise delivery, transformation and execution risk.

Influence outcomes across a complex matrix environment, driving accountability and delivery without relying solely on direct reporting authority
Qualifications
To be successful you will require the following experience:

Significant experience leading a PMO, strategic delivery, transformation and/or enterprise project portfolio function within a complex organisation.

Proven experience leading large-scale projects, programs and cross-functional transformation initiatives from strategy through to implementation.

Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate organisational priorities into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

Demonstrated experience establishing project governance frameworks, methodologies, reporting standards and portfolio management disciplines.

Strong understanding of business transformation, operational improvement, change management and benefits realisation.

Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with Executive and Senior Leadership teams.

Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability, with strong attention to risk, dependencies and business impact.

Proven ability to lead through influence within a complex, matrixed environment and bring diverse stakeholders together around common outcomes.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Transformation, Commerce or a related discipline will be highly regarded
