Full Job Description

Baked Collective are looking for experience Baker and Cake Decorator.

The job will include:

- Stacking and decorating cakes

- Delivering Wedding Cakes (mainly on Saturdays any time between 12pm-6pm), with occasional Sunday & Friday deliveries. Must be able to decorate some cakes on site depending on design. This is shared between employees, will not be required every weekend.

- Planning and checking schedules

- Serving and fulfilling customer orders

- Ability to work in a team

- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitary to workplace and kitchen

Requirements:

Have prior experience in cake decorating in a professional setting (Please send images of prior work to [email protected])
Have an ability to learn fast and pay attention to detail when handling allergy friendly cakes
Neat buttercream and piping skills
Worked on Retro/vintage style cakes and tiered wedding cakes
Have a positive attitude and hardworking
Willing to comply to health and food safety standards
Drivers license with own vehicle

Responsibilities:

Cake decorating
Cutting & stacking cake layers
Mixing and baking cakes
Cleaning and organising inventory
Delivering Wedding Cakes
Liaising with wedding coordinators
Jumping into other roles where needed (shopfront/cafe, baking other items, maybe slices/brownies etc)
