Physiotherapist (Full-Time)

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic. This is a full-time role offering a diverse caseload, clinical mentoring, and opportunities to further develop your skills in musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy.

As one of the longest-standing clinics in Kogarah, we work closely with GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.

Our clinic features a fully equipped rehabilitation gym located in The White Church opposite St George Public Hospital. Facilities include a cable machine, free weights, smith machine, functional training equipment, VALD force plates, force frame dynamometry and digital movement analysis technology, allowing you to combine hands-on physiotherapy with objective rehabilitation and performance testing.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
Managing a varied caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and workplace injuries
Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatment including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and patient education
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centred care
Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
Maintaining accurate clinical records and professional communication with referrers

What we're looking for

Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Private practice experience preferred, minimum 1 year experience.
Genuine interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A willingness to learn, ask questions and grow clinically
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Openness to working with a variety of referral streams including private patients, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, sporting injuries and GP management plans
