We're seeking an experienced Delivery Planning Lead to provide strategic oversight of enterprise portfolio delivery and workforce planning across our network investment program.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide resource and capacity planning framework that enables successful delivery of our capital portfolio.
Acting as the central coordination point for portfolio resource management, you'll work closely with project, program and business leaders to ensure projects are appropriately resourced, strategic priorities are achieved, and delivery risks are proactively managed.
This role is critical in balancing workforce capability, project demand and investment outcomes across a complex and evolving portfolio.
In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain a forward-looking enterprise capacity model across internal resource pools.

Analyse resource demand, utilisation and capacity to support portfolio planning and delivery decisions.

Identify resource constraints, bottlenecks and capability gaps across the portfolio.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support portfolio prioritisation and funding decisions.

Assess resource readiness as part of project and portfolio governance processes.

Develop resource utilisation scenarios and evaluate delivery trade-offs to optimise portfolio outcomes.

Maintain accurate resource data within enterprise portfolio management systems.

Monitor planned versus actual resource utilisation and provide reporting on emerging trends.

Partner with HR and Procurement to address workforce gaps and support external resource engagement where required.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience
-
4+ years' experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, Resource Management or a related planning discipline within a large, capital-intensive organisation.

Experience supporting complex project portfolios and enterprise-level workforce planning.
-
Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, engineering or asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.

Advanced Diploma in Project or Program Management, or equivalent experience.
Skills

Strong portfolio and resource planning capability, including experience with enterprise planning systems such as SAP, Copperleaf or similar.

Advanced analytical and modelling skills with the ability to develop resource forecasts and scenario analysis.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.

Strong understanding of workforce capacity planning and resource optimisation principles.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Proven problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
