Since launching in July 2013, we have successfully transformed and streamlined NSW Government service delivery with cutting edge digital solutions and an award-winning culture of passion and teamwork. Our customer-centric solution offers simpler and faster access to government transactions through our digital channels, a 7-day-a-week phone service and an expanding network of service centres. We currently partner with over 50 agencies to offer over 1,000 NSW Government transactions.

About the team
As a Business Concierge, you will be responsible for supporting businesses at every stage of their journey, offering personalised guidance, resources and support both in person and over the phone.

You will work closely with aspiring business owners and businesses in your local area, to assist them start, manage and grow. You will build and maintain strong relationships and proactively engage with the community to understand and respond to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personalised support and case management to small businesses
Proactively engage with businesses in your community
Engage with stakeholders (eg local councils) and partner with them to support businesses in your local area
Partner with your Team Leader and Business Relationship Manager to plan and deliver outreach activities, including events and presentations
Support inbound and outbound customer interactions through phone and digital channels
Build strong relationships with business customers to ensure ongoing support and positive outcomes when navigating government.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Experience working with multicultural communities; bilingual or multilingual capability is highly desirable
A strong understanding of the small business landscape and the challenges faced by business owners in NSW
Ability to adapt your approach to meet differing customer needs while maintaining high service standards
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, customer-focused mindset
The ability to support businesses primarily based in the Inner West & Georges River LGAs

Essential Requirements

Valid NSW driver’s licence
Willingness to travel across NSW, including metro, regional, and remote areas, sometimes at short notice/ designated LGAs
