Lead the delivery of ASIC's flagship, high-profile events. Drive end-to-end event management , partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful, reputation-enhancing experiences

Location - Sydney
Salary - $127,641 - $149,295 (depending on experience), plus 15.4% superannuation
Permanent Position

The team

ASIC's Strategy and Corporate Affairs Group leads communications and stakeholder engagement across internal, corporate and external channels.

The Events team delivers high-impact events that support ASIC's strategic priorities and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, industry and partners

The role

As the Events Manager, you will lead the delivery of ASIC's high-profile and strategically significant events, ensuring they align with organisational priorities and drive meaningful stakeholder engagement.

You will also:

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale ASIC events, including the ASIC Annual Forum
Partner with executives to manage event coordination, reporting and governance processes
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, industry participants and suppliers
Lead procurement, contracting and budget management in line with government requirements
Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple events
Deliver post-event evaluations to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement

About you

You are an experienced events professional, confident in delivering complex, high-profile events in fast-paced environments and working closely with senior stakeholders.

You will also bring:

Strong project management capability, with a proven ability to manage multiple events concurrently and deliver to a high standard, on time and within budget
Experience in financial and risk management, procurement, and contract oversight
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready outputs
The ability to work with a high level of autonomy and accountability
