About Viva Active

Viva Active is a premium personal training studio opening in Burwood on June 15, 2026. We are currently in our pre-sale phase building our client base before the doors open and we're looking for the right trainer to join us as we launch.

We are not a commercial gym. We are a boutique studio with a clear focus: helping adults live longer, move better, and feel stronger. Our programming is built around longevity, strength, and fat loss and every client interaction reflects that.

The role

We provide the clients, your job is to train them well. There is no complicated business model to navigate — you walk in, you coach, you build relationships, and you get paid to do what you love.

We have a structured onboarding plan with hours building to a sustainable full caseload within your first few months. This is a genuine opportunity to build a fulfilling training career without the stress of self-sourcing every client.

Day to day, you'll:

Deliver high-quality, personalised 1:1 PT sessions with engaged, motivated clients
Lead group training sessions that build genuine community and camaraderie in the studio
Conduct Strategy sessions to understand each client's goals and build structured plans around them
Deliver Nutrition sessions to support clients' specific physique and health outcomes
Adapt your approach to changing client needs, circumstances, and conditions — no two days look the same
Build strong, lasting client relationships that keep people coming back and referring others
Be reachable to clients via our app for guidance, check-ins, and accountability between sessions
Uphold the premium standards of the studio in everything — presentation, punctuality, and professionalism

Who we're looking for

This role is not for everyone. We want someone who genuinely loves working with people, thrives off clear systems, and takes pride in the details — because our clients notice.

Required:

Certificate III & IV in Fitness (completed or currently completing — final-year students welcome)
Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Registered or eligible for registration with Fitness Australia or AUSactive
Full working rights in Australia

You are:

Genuinely personable — you light up a room and clients feel heard around you
Obsessed with the details — the right cue, the right check-in, the right follow-up
Passionate about working with the 30–60 age group and understand what matters to them
Reliable, professional, and takes ownership of your work
Excited to be part of something new and hungry to grow

Timing

Viva Active opens June 15, 2026. We are recruiting now and expect to bring our first trainer on board between August and October 2026 as client volume builds. If you're finishing your Cert IV and will be qualified within that window, we want to hear from you.
