Citipointe Christian College is inviting applications for a Secondary Administration Assistant to join our Secondary Campus, working three days per week during term time, commencing as soon as the successful applicant is available.

Position Summary

The Secondary Administration Assistant provides high‑quality administrative support to faculty areas, ensuring smooth coordination of processes, events, and documentation across the academic year. The role supports staff with day‑to‑day administration, prepares assessment and excursion materials, maintains faculty resources, and contributes to the effective operation of faculty activities. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, digital literacy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment.

Role Responsibilities

Provide administrative support including word processing, email coordination, timetabling, Central, and budget monitoring
Coordinate Secondary personnel forms in EdSmart such as excursion requests, parent permission forms, and Variation of Duty forms
Use Office365, Central and related platforms to prepare excursion documentation and support budget processes
Prepare student assessment materials including printing, collation, and supporting documentation
Support the organisation of school events such as Discover Secondary, Awards Night, Graduation, school tours, excursions, and faculty activities
Maintain faculty storerooms and resources including regular organisation and upkeep
Support staff with curriculum materials to ensure effective delivery
Coordinate ordering and purchasing of stationery and faculty resources
Participate in professional development to continually improve practice
Communicate effectively with students and colleagues in a timely and professional manner
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Establish and maintain professional relationships with students and staff
Communicate appropriately in the interests of the school community
Undertake supervision duties during student breaks as required
Attend required meetings with colleagues and parents
Attend school events when requested by the Head of Learning Area or Head of Secondary
Perform additional duties as requested by the Head of Secondary or their delegate

Selection Criteria

Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship
Model Christian character consistent with the College’s Statement of Faith
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and high digital literacy
Show well‑developed organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Demonstrate effective professional relationships within the school community
Show initiative and flexibility as part of a collaborative team
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive College information
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
Hold a minimum Certificate III in Business or equivalent
Hold a current Working with Children Check
