The Opportunity – help build places people love to live

This is an opportunity to join our Residential Construction team as a Construction Assistant, supporting the successful delivery of homes at Halcyon Promenade and Halcyon Serrata. In this permanent, full-time role, you will work closely with Site Supervisors and the wider construction team, providing essential administrative support from pre‑construction through to handover. Your contribution will help keep site operations organised, compliant, and running efficiently, enabling our teams to focus on delivering quality outcomes for customers and communities.

We’re Looking For…

A proactive and organised Construction Assistant who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment and takes pride in supporting others to deliver their best work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will provide day to day administrative support to the Construction team, ensuring site operations run smoothly and efficiently across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and responding to shared Outlook mailboxes daily
Printing, collating, and maintaining site files for Site Supervisors
Generating construction reports from OnSite Companion
Supporting the coordination of monthly toolbox talks
Organising required site signage and administrative materials
Assisting with trade inductions via Sine / Kineo
Attending Pre Settlement Inspections to record defects and upload them into OnSite as directed
Collating documentation and materials for handover packs
Completing daily purchase order validation and data entry, ensuring approvals are in place
Updating construction milestone tracking in line with the build program
Performing general office duties, including ordering stationery, basic stocktake, and maintaining a tidy site office
Providing basic technical support to the Construction team as required
Working collaboratively as part of a close knit site team
Supporting the wider Construction Assistant team across other sites

About You

You enjoy bringing structure and clarity to busy environments. You are detail‑focused, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while supporting a team to deliver quality outcomes. You value teamwork, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work.

Experience & Skills That Count

Experience in an administration support role, ideally within a site‑based or operational environment
Exposure to residential construction or working on active sites is desirable
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Confident using MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Construction White Card or willingness to obtain
Driver licence and reliable transport
First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
