Electrical Leading Hand / Foreman – Gold Coast

Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand / Foreman to lead a multi-level hotel project on the Gold Coast . You will take full ownership of the electrical package from early-stage rough-in through to final fit-off and commissioning.

In this hands-on leadership role , you will:

Supervise and lead electricians on site
Coordinate daily works, labour allocation, and materials
Oversee installation of cable tray, conduits, wiring, and building services
Manage rough-in, fit-off, and commissioning phases
Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
Liaise with builders, project managers, and other trades
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
Monitor project progress, quality, and deadlines

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Proven experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or Foreman on commercial construction projects
Strong background across multi-level builds (hotels, apartments, or similar)
Current Electrical Licence (QLD)
Ability to lead teams, drive productivity, and maintain quality standards
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and site safety requirements
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work hands-on while managing site operations

Current QLD Electrical Licence
