Chef de Partie – Pier 88, Manly

Pier 88 is a vibrant waterfront restaurant in Manly, known for fresh seafood, seasonal produce and a relaxed coastal atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a supportive and professional team.

About the Role

Full-time position (40 hours per week)

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
Ability to run a section confidently and maintain high standards
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for quality food and attention to detail
Experience with seafood and modern Australian cuisine is advantageous
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team

Responsibilities

Manage your section and ensure consistent quality and presentation
Prepare and cook dishes to recipe and specification
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and minimising waste
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
