Location: Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospital

Where you'll be working
Join the dedicated teams at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, where you will play an important role supporting clinical staff, patients and visitors across a range of inpatient units. You will work within a supportive and collaborative environment that values professionalism, teamwork and continuous learning while delivering high quality healthcare to the community.

Work across two leading hospitals within Western Sydney Local Health District
Support multidisciplinary teams in a fast paced clinical environment
Gain exposure to diverse hospital wards and healthcare services

What you'll be doing
As a Relief Ward Clerk, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of hospital wards and units. You will manage patient information, coordinate admission and discharge processes and support staff with efficient ward administration.

Maintain accurate patient records, admissions, transfers and discharge data
Manage ward clerical systems and support daily operational activities
Coordinate patient transport bookings, medical records and ward documentation
Support clinical teams, patients and visitors with professional customer service
Assist with ward supplies, mail distribution and onboarding of new staff

Competent computer skills in a Windows based environment and a knowledge of databases.
