Full Job Description

Designer Image is South East Queensland’s leading residential landscape construction company. We specialise in all types of soft and hardscapes including fencing, decking, tiling, turfing, planting and more.

We are looking for a skilled carpenter with landscaping experience to join our structural landscaping crews! To be successful in this role, you MUST have experience in the landscape construction industry, be reliable and have a high level of attention to detail.

WHAT YOU OFFER:

Qualified carpenter with experience in deck construction and repairs, carports, fences and pergolas
Fully qualified carpentry certificate (Cert III in Carpentry) + minimum 1 year experience
Construction Industry Induction (White Card) is non-negotiable
Must be able to take direction from management but also work autonomously

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specification
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and building materials
Construct and fit timber structures, fittings and joinery components
Order and prepare materials for daily project requirements
Complete repairs, modifications and maintenance work as required
Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with Australian safety standards
Work closely with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
