Swim School Manager – Townsville
City Venue Management is excited to be welcoming Kokoda Memorial Baths and Long Tan Memorial Baths into our growing network of aquatic facilities, and we're looking for an exceptional Swim School Manager at each facility to help shape their next chapter.

The Role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the swim school program across either Kokoda Memorial Baths or Long Tan Memorial Baths, supporting and developing instructors while creating an outstanding experience for students and families throughout the Townsville community.
As Swim School Manager, you will:

Lead, mentor, and develop the swim school team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality swim instruction from infants through to squad levels.

Manage class schedules, staff rosters, enrolments, and day-to-day swim school operations.

Build strong relationships with families, schools, and community groups to grow participation and engagement.

Drive enrolments through proactive communication, community outreach, and promotional initiatives.

Ensure compliance with pool safety standards, child safety requirements, and operational procedures.

Create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and families.

Work collaboratively with venue leadership teams to support the overall success of the facility.

Contribute to the establishment of a positive team culture during the transition to City Venue Management.

Experience within aquatics, leisure, or swim school operations is highly regarded; however, we welcome applicants from a range of leadership and customer-focused backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in the role.
Weekend availability (minimum one day) is required.
Qualifications & Certifications
All CVM employees are required to hold a valid Paid Blue Card.
