Employment Term: Full-time, maximum term contract until 30 June 2028
Location: Auchenflower
Remuneration: $55.72 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging

Your part in our UnitingCare team

We are currently seeking a Service Leader to join our Supported Accommodation teams on a full-time basis until 30 June 2028. This is a rewarding and challenging role where you will have a significant opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

The purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the service and support our incredible teams with best practice service delivery to families experiencing homelessness in Brisbane.

In this role, you will:

Weekend shifts including penalty rates will be a consistent requirement of the role as leadership is necessary onsite, 7 days a week. RDO’s will regularly fall on week days.
Provide line management and practice supervision, leadership and guidance to service delivery employees.
Work within relevant quality and risk frameworks and guidelines in accordance with relevant standards to ensure delivery of high-quality services, respect of client’s rights and confidentiality.
Oversee the programs within budget and in consultation with the Statewide Manager, contribute to the budget planning cycle with specified accountability requirements

What makes a difference for us?

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work, Psychology or Social Science)
Lesser formal qualifications with acquisition of considerable skills and extensive and diverse relevant experience to an equivalent standard of leadership.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve service performance outcomes together with an ability to provide quality supervision and training.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Current drivers’ licence.
A current Blue Card or willingness to make an application for one.
