ACT Lead | Civil and Structural Engineering

This is a compelling opportunity for a senior engineer to lead and grow our civil and structural engineering presence in Canberra.

As a key leadership appointment, the role offers the chance to combine technical excellence, commercial acumen and strong client engagement to shape the growth of our ACT business. For an experienced leader who enjoys building capability, creating market momentum and delivering high-quality outcomes, this is a role with genuine influence and long-term impact.

Day to Day

Win work and help grow the Canberra client base
Deliver high-quality civil and structural engineering projects
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Work closely with the NSW Civil and Structural teams
Recruit, mentor, and help grow the local team
Balance hands-on technical delivery with leadership and business growt

Profile/Skills:

Essential

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural), ideally Chartered or working towards chartership
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering role, with a strong track record in project delivery and client relationship management
Experience using engineering software such as SPACEGASS, RAPT, ETABS, RCB, STRAND7, or equivalent
Strong local market connections in Canberra, particularly across the development, commercial, and medium to high-density building sectors
