City Discount Tyres Balcatta is a specialist tyre, wheel and 4WD service centre located at 98 Erindale Rd, Balcatta WA 6021, with a strong focus on tyres, wheels, 4WD upgrades, suspension, lift kits and automotive accessories.

We are specifically looking for someone with strong, hands-on knowledge of tyres, wheels, suspension, lift kits and 4WD accessories SALES, ESPECIALLY who has previously worked in automotive/tyre Industry as retail sales/Mechanic.

What We're Looking For

3–5+ years of experience in tyre, automotive or 4WD retail sales.( APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE WORKED AS A SALES MANAGER ALONG WITH MECHANIC EXP/KNOWLEDGE AS WELL )
Strong retail sales and customer-service experience
In-depth knowledge of tyres and wheels
Strong understanding of major tyre and wheel brands, their applications, positioning and margins
Previous experience selling 4WD products and accessories
Proven experience selling lift kits and suspension
Ability to understand a customer's vehicle, driving requirements and budget and recommend the right product, rather than simply selling the most expensive option
Understanding of tyre sizes, load ratings, speed ratings, applications and fitment
Good knowledge of wheel fitment, offsets, PCD, load ratings and tyre/wheel combinations
Ability to upsell and cross-sell tyres, wheels, suspension, lift kits and 4WD accessories
Ability to work with customers from enquiry through to sale
Commercial understanding of product cost, margins and profitability
Confident communication and professional presentation

-Starting salary from $80,000 AUD++

-Employee Sponsorship Opportunity (If you have the required experience, technical knowledge, sales ability and genuine long-term commitment to the automotive industry, sponsorship discussions may be considered after successfully completing a 3-month probation period, subject to eligibility and applicable requirements.)

-Please do not apply solely because you are looking for sponsorship. We are looking for someone who already has strong tyre/automotive retail sales experience and can demonstrate genuine knowledge of the industry.

-Applicants must currently be residing in Australia.

-Candidates currently living in Perth, WA are preferred.

-Applicants currently living in another Australian state are welcome to apply if they are genuinely prepared to relocate to Perth.
