City Discount Tyres Balcatta is a specialist tyre, wheel and 4WD service centre located at 98 Erindale Rd, Balcatta WA 6021, with a strong focus on tyres, wheels, 4WD upgrades, suspension, lift kits and automotive accessories.
We are specifically looking for someone with strong, hands-on knowledge of tyres, wheels, suspension, lift kits and 4WD accessories, who has previously worked in automotive/tyre retail sales.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in tyre, automotive or 4WD retail sales
- Strong retail sales and customer-service experience
- In-depth knowledge of tyres and wheels
- Strong understanding of major tyre and wheel brands, their applications, positioning and margins
- Previous experience selling 4WD products and accessories
- Proven experience selling lift kits and suspension
- Ability to understand a customer's vehicle, driving requirements and budget and recommend the right product, rather than simply selling the most expensive option
- Understanding of tyre sizes, load ratings, speed ratings, applications and fitment
- Good knowledge of wheel fitment, offsets, PCD, load ratings and tyre/wheel combinations
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell tyres, wheels, suspension, lift kits and 4WD accessories
- Ability to work with customers from enquiry through to sale
- Commercial understanding of product cost, margins and profitability
- Confident communication and professional presentation
-Starting salary from $80,000 AUD
