What your day could look like
As an Administration Officer, you'll help create a seamless experience for patients and support teams to deliver high-quality healthcare. From coordinating essential information to ensuring services run efficiently, you'll be a trusted point of contact who helps people access the care and support they need.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Creating welcoming and positive experiences for patients, families and visitors while supporting efficient service delivery.
Maintaining accurate records and information systems that enable teams to make informed decisions and provide safe, timely care.
Supporting the smooth coordination of appointments, documentation, meetings and administrative processes across the service.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet changing priorities, solve problems and keep daily operations running effectively.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings both organisation and empathy to every interaction. You stay calm when priorities shift, communicate with respect, and take pride in delivering high-quality support that helps others succeed. Whether you're assisting a patient, supporting a busy team or finding a better way to get things done, you're motivated by making a genuine difference. You're not just here to keep things organised, you're here to help create positive experiences and contribute to better outcomes for the community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Experience providing professional administrative support in a busy environment.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office and digital information systems, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, work independently and adapt to changing needs.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting healthcare, community or public sector services and/or experience coordinating meetings, records or complex administrative processes.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to every interaction, helping create positive outcomes for patients, colleagues and the community.
