Retail Sales Assistant | NEW STORE OPENING!!!

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products based on their needs and preferences.
Provide product information, features, and benefits to customers, helping them make informed purchase decisions.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and shelves.
Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register accurately, and process payments following established procedures.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
Offer assistance in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and friendly manner.
Monitor and manage the fitting rooms to enhance the shopping experience.
Upsell and cross-sell products to customers, maximizing sales opportunities.
Stay updated on product knowledge and new arrivals to provide up-to-date information to customers.
Participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is beneficial.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers.
Positive attitude, team-oriented, and eager to assist customers and colleagues.
Basic math skills for processing transactions and providing accurate change.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Training will commence at Macquarie Park, and then back to store mid - Sept !
