Full Job Description

Bring your passion for making the complex simple as a Senior Product (UX/UI) Designer, joining a growing design capability in Macquarie’s Risk Management Group.

What role will you play?

You will lead end-to-end design from discovery to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-impact solutions. Using insights from user research and testing, you’ll develop wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs (Figma), while contributing to and evolving the design system to ensure consistency and accessibility. You’ll also facilitate workshops and design sprints, champion design thinking, and play a key role in advancing design maturity across Risk Management Group’s transformation initiatives.

This is a day rate contract position.

What you offer

5+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, ideally in financial services or risk/compliance domains or internal platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, including research, journey mapping, workshop facilitation, IA, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and visual design.
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
Experience designing visual components and contributing to design systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A strategic mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
