Elevate the Guest Experience as a Horizon Club Purser at Shangri-La Sydney

Shangri-La Sydney, the city’s leading luxury hotel, is situated in the historic Rocks district, perfectly positioned between the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Our hotel features 565 elegantly designed guest rooms and suites, four exceptional food and beverage outlets, and 18 versatile function spaces—offering a world-class experience to every guest.

About Horizon Club

Horizon Club is our exclusive Executive Lounge, where guests enjoy personalized service, a refined atmosphere, and a sense of home away from home. We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join our team in variety of roles, including Purser, All rounder and F&B attendant.

The Roles:

Depending on the position, you may:

Deliver personalised guest service, including checkins, checkouts, and tailored assistance
Provide premium F&B service during breakfast, evening canapés, and throughout the day
Maintain lounge presentation, ensuring the space remains welcoming, organised, and immaculate
Support daily operations such as buffet setup, clearing tables, and pantry upkeep
Uphold ShangriLa standards across Front Office, F&B, and guest experience touchpoints
These roles work closely together to create a seamless, elevated experience for every Horizon Club guest.

About You:

Previous experience in an Executive Club Lounge or luxury hotel environment.
Skilled in Front Office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level hospitality and anticipate guest needs.
Full-time availability for a 7-day rotating roster.
Full working rights in Australia.
Current RSA certification.
