Description:
About the role

Onsite has an opportunity for a motivated & capable Account Manager to join our team.

This role will be responsible for territory sales in the Surat area and can be based in Toowoomba, Chinchilla or Roma QLD.

Reporting to the Team Leader - Sales & Business Development and working closely with the branch team, you will be responsible for maintaining & growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned portfolio / territory.

In this role you will: -

Manage & grow the existing customer base
Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans
Conduct regular cold calling throughout assigned territory, increasing awareness of Onsite’s product range & establishing yourself as the lead point of contact
Build & strengthen relationships with existing & potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows & conferences
Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
Maintain accurate client data in CRM system

Skills and Experiences:
Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry
Ability & willingness to cold call, in person & by phone
Record of success in attracting & retaining new business
Capacity to work safely & autonomously in the field
Resilience & the ability to overcome obstacles & find solutions
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution & relationship building skills
