Full Job Description

Kennedy's Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Renewable Energy Technical Sales Specialist to lead consultative, technically complex sales of commercial and large-scale residential renewable energy systems solar PV, battery storage and related energy-efficiency solutions. The role owns the end-to-end consultative sales process: developing commercial and business (B2B) accounts, assessing each client's site and specifying a customised solution, and preparing and closing commercial proposals. It is an experienced client-facing role that combines consultative selling with the technical and regulatory knowledge needed to design and sell each solution.

Key responsibilities:

· Develop and manage a pipeline residential, strata and commercial clients.

· Lead multi-visit, consultative, design-led sales engagements from first contact to close.

· Assess client sites and energy needs and specify customised solar, storage and energy-efficiency solutions.

· Navigate the network-connection and regulatory requirements relevant to each sale.

· Prepare commercial proposals and tenders; negotiate and close.

· Manage accounts after sale, including handover and performance follow-up.

· Support and mentor junior sales staff as required.

· Experience and working knowledge of various NSW Government incentives/rebates in relation to both renewable energy (solar) and battery installation for both commercial and residential clients.

· Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services.

Skills and experience:

· Demonstrated ability to combine technical solution design with consultative B2B sales in a client-facing role.

· Sound working knowledge of renewable energy systems (solar PV and battery storage) and the associated network-connection, compliance and rebate frameworks.

· Strong consultative selling, account-management and commercial/financial-modelling skills.

· Ability to manage complex, multi-stage sales cycles with commercial clients.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor degree in a relevant field of study or at least five years' relevant experience in a related technical, commercial or advisory field; and

· At least 1-year relevant experience combining renewable energy system design and consultative sales.

· Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Design Accreditation or relevant industry accreditation is desirable.

Base salary:

circa Range- AUD$135,000 -AUD $150,000 per annum plus superannuation (fixed base; no commission)

Pay: $135,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
