About the role
We have an exciting 12-month maximum-term opportunity for a Gas Transmission Maintenance Scheduler to join our team.
Based from either our Greystanes (NSW) or Gladstone (QLD) office, this role offers hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to work on critical gas transmission infrastructure.
This role would suit a junior engineer, former technician, operations professional, or experienced maintenance planner/scheduler looking to broaden their experience within the energy industry.
You will coordinate and optimise maintenance activities across pipelines and facilities, ensuring work is planned, resourced, and delivered safely and efficiently. Working closely with Team Leaders, Supervisors, contractors, and field teams, you'll gain exposure to maintenance programs, outages, workforce planning, and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities include

Develop and maintain resource schedules across complex gas transmission assets

Coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities

Optimise workforce and contractor resource allocation

Manage work orders and scheduling activities using SAP and related systems

Support coordination of contractors, vendors, and field-based teams

Ensure maintenance prerequisites are in place (e.g permits, materials, approvals, and access requirements)

Support outage planning and workforce coordination

Monitor schedule performance and identify improvement opportunities

About You
You may come from a technical, operational, or planning background and enjoy coordinating people, resources, and work programs in a fast-paced environment. You will bring:

Experience in maintenance scheduling, planning, coordination, or operations within oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure, industrial processing, or similar asset-intensive industries

Experience using SAP, ERP, CMMS, MRS, or similar work management systems

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Experience coordinating field teams, contractors, or operational resources

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
-
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
