The role
In this role, you'll help drive a licence project relating to communications infrastructure on Crown land. Working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll coordinate approvals, manage project activities, report on progress, provide advice and recommendations, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with legislative and policy requirements.

This is a project-focused role rather than a people management position. You'll keep multiple workstreams moving, identify opportunities to improve systems and administration, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

What you will bring to the role

Strong project coordination or project administration experience, with the ability to organise, prioritise and manage competing tasks and deadlines.
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail, with experience maintaining processes, tracking actions and ensuring quality outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to analyse information, identify issues and develop practical solutions to improve business processes and service delivery.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the confidence to work with government agencies, customers, industry groups and other stakeholders.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear advice, briefings and recommendations.
A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering responsive, high-quality services and outcomes.
Sound project management skills, including coordinating deliverables, monitoring progress and supporting successful project outcomes.
Experience working within policy, legislative or governance frameworks, or the ability to quickly interpret and apply complex requirements.
Strong organisational skills, personal accountability and the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
Experience in telecommunications is not essential; however, candidates with strong project coordination, administration and stakeholder management experience will be well suited to the role.

What is an essential requirement:

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/ or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in the communications infrastructure industry.

Current drivers licence, with the ability and willingness to travel.
