Take your advanced nursing skills beyond the clinical setting and help shape better care and better outcomes.
As a Nurse Practitioner you will provide comprehensive virtual mental health care, including assessment, treatment, treatment planning, and referral services, specifically targeting individuals presenting to rural and remote Emergency Departments in Moree, Glen Innes, Narrabri, and Inverell (New England North-West Service.

Bring your advanced clinical expertise to a role where autonomy, collaboration and patient-centred care come together.
You’ll provide advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment across primary care, using your clinical judgement to support patients with a range of health needs and achieve positive outcomes.
Working alongside patients, families and a multidisciplinary team, you’ll:

Lead and coordinate individualised patient care.
advanced clinical reasoning to complex presentations.
Contribute to quality improvement and service development.
Use research and evidence to strengthen clinical practice.

You’ll also have the opportunity to share your expertise, support colleagues and influence better practice, contributing to improved health outcomes across the community.

About You

You’re an experienced Nurse Practitioner who brings advanced clinical knowledge, sound judgement and a strong commitment to person-centred care.
You’ll bring:

Current AHPRA registration and Nurse Practitioner endorsement, or substantial progress towards endorsement.
3+ years’ advanced practice experience in your area of practice.
Strong primary care assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills.
Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
